Cyberspace Policy Analyst

Location: Ft. Meade, MD, USA

Key Role:

Serve as a Cyberspace policy analyst and conduct research, analysis, and coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine for Cyberspace operations at the national, DoD, service, and command levels. Apply technical expertise to executive-level projects and analyze and assess the development of future strategies, policies, and doctrines governing Cyberspace operations. Analyze interagency and coalition policy formulations on Cyberspace issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and combatant command equities are accurately represented.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience as a Cyberspace policy analyst

-Experience with conducting research and analysis and contributing to the coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine for Cyberspace operations

-Experience with developing reports and briefings on policy, strategy, and doctrine activities

-Experience with analyzing policies on Cyberspace issues and researching authorities, concerns, and equities to ensure accurate representation

-Knowledge of existing Joint Cyberspace policies

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with providing background support and current status for documents and presentations

-Ability to plan and prepare for interactions with researchers and policy makers

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-BA or BS degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
